Axle has integrated with a wide array of domestic and commercial battery systems. We’ve got a track record of operating large fleets of batteries in demand response and constraint management. We’re also the only provider of frequency services to the UK grid using domestic batteries. Notably, we do this without any additional hardware, utilizing existing cloud APIs to provide swift and stable responses of several MW.

Integrating with Axle

You can either integrate into the Axle API, or we’ll integrate into an existing cloud API.

Telemetry

We typically gather:
  • State of charge (SOC) %
  • Inverter Power kW
  • Grid Power kW
  • Solar Power kW
You can push these to our Asset Readings endpoint.
